6 days 6 nights. I am so glad we managed to survive the sweltering 37ºC heat wave of Bangkok and made it back. A shopping paradise, naughty nightlife, and a whooping high temperature describe Bangkok in a nutshell. Did I mention that we missed our flight back to Singapore on Tuesday? That was probably the highlight of the entire vacation. And running incessantly for two hours from places to places to beat the disobeying traffic to get to the airport in time. It felt as though we were in an episode of the Amazing Race, except we had no million dollars grand prize to win. Instead we had to pay a pretty steep penalty to get the next flight back, and spend another night in town with what little amount of cash we had left on ourselves. Alas, it was a dope week well-spent with my mates. Cheers!
